Slow Burn | Noir Muse 27

A black-and-white warning-label layout with the type turned up loud. "SMOKING" runs across the top in heavy black capitals, and "KILLS" fills the bottom beside a small barcode. Between them sits an inked portrait of a person with a choppy bob and smudged dark eyes, a cigarette between dark lips. Coral-orange strips carry the line "IT IS A SL____OW TYPE OF BURN", tiny repeating "SMOKING KILLS" text and rows of Korean and Japanese script. A small DANGER label with a lightning bolt sits at lower right.

It is deadpan and a little loud, like a warning sticker from a film prop shop. Put it on the wall above a desk or in a hostel room that needs one sharp focal point. The black, white and coral sit easily beside other monochrome prints. Pair it with Dead Loop from Noir Muse, which shares the series.
