Dead Loop | Noir Muse 30

Four lines of thick, hand-painted burgundy lettering fill this print almost edge to edge: make love, make art, make out, make money. The strokes are loose and uneven, like a brush pen dragged quickly over old cream paper, and the last word squeezes its O and N on top of each other to fit.

It reads like a to-do list with its priorities in a slightly questionable order, which is half the fun. The cream and wine red bring colour to a study desk or a hostel wall without getting loud. Pair it with Soft Destruction from Noir Muse to repeat those deep reds in a painted portrait.
