Let It Pass | Mlue 13

Soft cornflower-blue lettering sits in the middle of a cream page, stacked in four lines: Don't, over-, think, it. The typeface is an elegant serif with heavy stems and hairline strokes, and the lines are set so tightly that they overlap, with the hyphen after over floating up beside the i of think. The cream paper has a faint horizontal weave, a bit like linen, and there is plenty of empty space around the words.

It's a calm, gentle nudge rather than a shout. Hang it above a study desk, next to a mirror or on a hostel wall, where you'll catch it just before you rewrite that message for the fourth time. The blue and cream stay quiet beside wood and white walls. Pair it with Soft Orbit from Mlue to keep the blue going across one wall.
