Midnight Waves | Mlue 38

Rows of rolling waves are drawn in thousands of fine parallel lines, pale powder blue near the top and deep indigo at the bottom. Small curls of white foam break along a few crests, and the sky above is warm cream with a faint horizontal texture, a nod to Japanese woodblock prints.

The lines are full of movement but stick to one colour family, so the print stays calm. It works above a bed, in a study corner, or on the wall across from a window. Soft Orbit, also from Mlue, uses the same blues in a much simpler shape.
