Serial Presence | Element Dark 22

A single file of dark figures, seen from behind, walks away across warm off-white paper. The ones nearest you are huge and dense, their shoulders built from fine black grain like stipple or heavy ink dust. Their heads are pale, soft smudges with no faces. The line curves up and to the left, each figure a little smaller than the last, until they shrink to tiny specks near the middle of the print. Their edges break up into the paper, so the black seems to dissolve rather than stop. There is no text.

It is a quiet, slightly eerie print that rewards a long look. Hang it above a study desk, along a hallway or on the wall beside your bed, where the cream background keeps it light. Pair it with Absent Identity from Element Dark if you want another print from the same series on that wall.
